Mission

The goal of our center is to maintain our leadership position in the field of cleft lip-palate and craniomaxillofacial surgery and to move forward. In addition, it is aimed to make a pioneering attempts regarding craniofacial anomalies and concomitant problems treatment and follow-up schemes in our country, to train other universities and educational institutions, to cooperate with national and international scientific researches, review and treatment institutions, private and public institutions and related associations in order to provide scientific and financial resources and to obtain sharing of scientific, technical data and service with them; to organize advanced specialization courses, workshops, congresses, conferences, symposiums, seminars and supporting scientific publications.

Vision

"Research and Application Center for the Treatment of Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniomaxillofacial Deformities" aims to work on epidemiology-prevalence and incidence of cleft lip-palate and craniofacial anomalies, to conduct scientific research in order to improve the treatment methods of these diseases, to develop diagnostic&treatment methods related to the spectrum of deformities accompanying these diseases and dynamically constructing and implementing current follow-up and treatment plans.

It is aimed to develop more ideal treatment methods by establishing interdisciplinary and close cooperation with units such as Orthodontics, Ear Nose Throat, Audiology and Speech Disorders, Genetics, Obstetrics, Pediatric Nutrition, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Mental Health and Diseases, Language and Speech Development, in the treatment of cleft lip-palate and craniofacial anomalies and deformities accompanying these diseases.
